Alex´s Weg zum Yoga
Years ago a girlfriend asked me how she would know if yoga was right for her. I thought the answer was pretty obvious: if it feels good! I have been practicing yoga for about 15 years and I never stopped loving it. Yoga has so many different faces and works on so many levels that it certainly is a fulfilling lifetime project. My teacher training in Cologne (Institut für Yoga & Gesundheit) included elements from various styles (Ashtanga, Hatha and Kundalini) but also different forms of meditation, breath work and chanting, as well as the study of yoga philosophy. All these aspects I try to develop further and bring to my classes. Yoga also fosters a sense of community; isn’t it great to know that no matter where you travel there’s always a friendly yoga studio to welcome you?
