Maybe you’ve already had a teacher training, but you still want to grow and develop as a teacher; or maybe your classes no longer seem fresh and you want some new input and ideas. This tuneup for yoga teachers can be a way for you to reignite and re-excite you and your yoga classes!
WHAT WE OFFER
Our teacher Tune-up will advance your practice and make your classes more interesting, unique and exciting. We will focus our discussion on the designing of unique and effective class concepts that are a pleasure for you to teach and for your students to experience. Each session will include a practice directly related to our study topic and learning goals.
– Sequencing strategies for alignment based classes
– Strategies for energizing, uplifting vinyasa
– Creating form study sequences
– Designing peak pose sequences
– Class themes and strategies for effectively, yet unobtrusively, weaving your themes into your classes
– Effective verbal cues
– Matching pranayama exercises to sequences

Kevin brings years of passionate exploration of yoga to his teaching. A dedicated practitioner since 1998, he has been a student of Iyengar, Ashtanga, and most extensively Anusara Yoga and has recently been a student of internationally renowned teacher Noah Mazé. Kevin delights in sharing insights from his personal practice and experience and in helping beginning to advanced students alike to explore the depth of yoga and to discover the fine details and big transformations. His background as a professional musician shapes his view of yoga. As in music, yoga offers a discipline filled with opportunities to explore creative action and artistry that brings one intensely and directly into the heart of the experience of being alive.
