Babysteps to Handstand
SAMSTAG 26. September 10:30-13:00UHR In this workshop we will go over fundamentals that uncover your own unique way to handstand. From unconventional movements and more traditional yoga stretches needed to open the shoulders, lateral muscles (Lats) and the handstand muscle (serratus anterior). Techniques, drills, and unconventional movement patterns are what we will work on to take your handstand to another level, whether beginner or advanced. Bring a Pen and paper so that you can take what you have learned to your home practice. Students will leave with greater body awareness and understand of how they can each individually work towards improving or enhancing their handstand.
Advancing your backbends
SAMSTAG 26. September 14:30-17:00UHR In this workshop, we will take a look at the fundamental pieces behind having a stronger and healthier backbend. We will go through the psychological processes of calming the mind/body down so that you may feel more free in your backbend practice. This will lead us to explore specific poses with a new mindset and way to approach them, allowing for new insights and ways to approach your unique practice.

Born and raised in Southern California, Brad has recently moved to Cologne, Germany, in 2017 to further pursue his passion for teaching and motivating!
Brad grew up with a sports background starting at the young age of 5. He played competitive tennis and baseball throughout high school, finding his first job as a tennis instructor.
Brad has a wealth of knowledge from being a sports teacher and yoga instructor for the last 13 years, which has allowed him to define his own teaching style. He pays particular attention to individual self-care in each class, with detailed focus on breath to movement, and pushing past emotional limitations. Brad truthfully believes that each person ist unique, and the importance of yoga has to do with mental presence and physical process of going through each asana (pose) rather than the destination of the final asana.
